Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Karra P.S. Case No. 01 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 111/ 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, Sections 25(1-B)a, 25(6), 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti. On 05.01.2025, Karra Police, on the basis of confidential information that some accused persons have assembled at Ronhe forest area for enforcing rangdari from contractors, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended several accused persons including the petitioner. It is alleged that mobile phone, naxal literatures and nine live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2025. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub- Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Karra P.S.
