Disciplinary authority imposed penalty of stoppage of one annual increment with cumulative effect upon the petitioner and also ordered to recover an amount of Rs. 7,30,000/- from his salary w.e.f. April 2025 in equal installments in order to recover the loss sustained to the respondent-Corporation. Petitioner filed statutory appeal 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - against the penalty order before respondent No.1 on 21.04.2025. 4. Petitioner’s grievance is that his aforesaid appeal has not been decided as yet. 5. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.1/Competent Authority to consider and decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from today.
