Virender Singh v. State of Himachal Pradesh and another CWP No. 7862 of 2024 13.8.2025 Present: Mr. Sourav Sharma, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Rajan Kahol, Mr. Vishal Panwar and Mr. B.C. Verma, Additional Advocates General with Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for respondents. While placing on record communication dated 12.8.2025, issued under the signature of Director of School Education Himachal Pradesh Shimla, Mr. Ravi Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General, states that in terms of judgment alleged to have been violated, respondents have considered the representation of the petitioner in light of Taj Mohamad’s case, but since he has not been found similarly situate to Taj Mohamad’s case, his case stands rejected. Having perused aforesaid communication as well as copy of consideration order dated 25.2.2025 annexed alongwith the same, this Court finds merit in the aforesaid submission of Mr. Chauhan. Since there was only direction to consider case of the petitioner in light of Taj Mohamad and respondents after having considered case of the petitioner in light of Taj Mohamad, rejected the same, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly, same are closed, reserving liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings before appropriate court of law qua surviving grievance, if any.
