The case set up by the petitioner is that she is serving as a Staff Nurse at Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib, District Sirmour. She gave birth to a male child on 05.03.2025 and applied to Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hosptial Paonta Sahib, for maternity leave on and w.e.f. 06.03.2025. Petitioner’s grievance is that aforesaid application dated 06.03.2025 (Annexure P-2) has still not been decided by Competent Authority till date. -2- 3. Looking to the nature of the grievance raised in this writ petition, it would in the interest of justice to direct respondent No.3/Competent Authority to consider and decide the aforesaid application (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of one week from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
