Anita Kumari, D/o Late Madan Mohan Singh All residents of Village Anjan, P.O. Anjan, P.S. & District Gumla. .......... Respondents. ----- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioners : None For the State : Mr. Prashant Kr. Rai, AC to SC(L&C)-I ----- Order No.08 Date: 07.03.2025 1. Reference may be made to the order dated 17th April, 2023, which reads as under:- “Since it has been informed at the Bar that Mr. Satish Kumar Deo, has been selected in the Bihar Superior Judicial Service, office is directed to issue notice to the petitioners for engaging another counsel.” 2. It has been reported by the office that neither service report nor unserved notice issued to the petitioners has yet been received. 3. Even if the service report of the notice issued to the petitioners has not been received, they should have been prompt enough to engage any other counsel, as the earlier counsel was selected in Bihar Superior Judicial Service. 4. Since no one has been representing the petitioners for the last about two years, I see no reason to keep the present writ petition pending. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajesh Shankar, J.) Sanjay/
