This is a petition filed on behalf of bank who had extended the loan to the borrower/respondent no. 2. An appeal has been preferred under Section 18 of The Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, which has been registered as Appeal No. 1126 of 2023. Expeditious disposal of the said appeal has been sought by this petition. 2. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to the private respondent, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon Tribunal concerned to decide the pending Appeal No. 1126 of 2023 after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 3. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
