Bhattacharjee, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department, appearing for the respondent no.1 and Mr. N. Goswami, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the opposite party nos.2 & 3 in the connected Writ Petition. The present interlocutory application has been instituted by the applicant/writ petitioner praying for impleading the Bodoland Territorial Council Authorities, as respondents in the connected Writ Petition. On perusal of the contentions raised in the present writ petition, as well as on perusing the order dated 01.08.2025, passed by this Court in the connected writ petition, being WP(C).No.4538/2020, this Court is of the considered view that the parties sought to be impleaded in the connected writ petition, are necessary and proper parties for a due adjudication of the issues arising therein. In view of the above position, the present interlocutory application stands allowed, permitting the applicant/writ petitioner to implead (i) “The Principal Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Council, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region(BTR), Assam” and (ii) “The Director, Land Records and Survey, Bodoland Territorial Page No.# 3/3 Council, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region(BTR), Assam” as respondent nos.4 & 5 in the connected Writ Petition i.e WP(C).No.4538/2020.
