Heard Shri Kuldeep Dubey, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri S.K. Khare, the learned Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. and Shri Govind Kumar Chaurasia, Advocate holding brief of Shri Mohan Singh, the learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha. 2. By means of the instant petition, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction for removal of encroachment taken by the respondents on the land bearing Gata No.2697 (Rasta) and 2827 (Chakroad) situated in Village- Satanapur, H/o Khinjhana, Tehsil- Fatehpur, District- Barabanki. 3. On the basis of written instructions provided by the SDM, Fatehpur, Barabanki, the learned Standing Counsel has informed that proceedings under Section 67 of U.P. Revenue code 2006 have already been instituted on the land bearing Gata No.2697. Regarding land bearing Gata No.2827, proceedings are pending before the Settlement Officer, Consolidation and any action can be taken only after decision of those proceedings. 4. A copy of the aforesaid instructions is taken on record. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by issuing a direction to the authorities concerned for expeditious disposal of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : R.N.
