4. Upon perusal of the documents and after perusing letters dated 09.03.2024 and 13.02.2025 issued by the petitioner himself to the police authorities, it is clear that the petitioner was aware that there were charges to be paid by him with regard to the security that has been provided to him. This fact cannot be disputed and the prayer made by the petitioner that the security should be granted to him free of cost does not hold any water whatsoever. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he is now willing to make payment by way of installments. 5. In view of above submission made and upon consent of learned counsel appearing on behalf of State, we direct the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (one lacs fifty thousand only) within a period of six weeks, and thereafter, pay the balance amount in eighteen monthly installments starting from March, 2026. 6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
