BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER Date : 08-08-2025 Heard Mr. S.K. Talukdar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2 and Mr. B. Goswami, learned Addl. AG, Assam appearing for the respondent Nos. 3 to 5. After deliberating with the matter for quite some time, Mr. Talukdar submits that presently the grievance of the petitioner is on account of inaction of the respondent authorities on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 26-05-2025, 26-06-2025 and 30-06-2025 which are self explanatory. From the pleadings it appears that the petitioner is aggrieved by the assessment of the compensation receivable by the petitioner and also non preparation of an accurate sketch map of the land owned and possessed by the petitioner in respect of a land covered by Dag No. 1410 under Patta No. 481 acquired under the proceeding of LA No. 32/2024. Noticing that there is no specific order of the respondent authorities under challenge, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent No. 3 to take into account the representations filed by the petitioner and to pass necessary order(s) and/ or take necessary action in accordance with law, with intimation to the petitioner, within a period of 04 weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
Page No.# 3/3 This order will not preclude the petitioner from agitating any future claim which may arise out of the disposal of the representation. Writ petition stands disposed of.
