Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Prashant Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 & 3 and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. Present petition has been filed assailing the suspension order dated 17.7.2025 passed by the respondent no.2. Contention put forth by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been placed under suspension since 17.7.2025 and the disciplinary proceedings has still not been concluded. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the District Basic Education Officer submits that the enquiry report has been submitted by the Enquiry Officer and the Disciplinary authority has given show cause notice to the petitioner on 10.10.2025 but the same has not been replied by him as yet and, therefore, the disciplinary proceedings is being delayed. Be that as it may, the petitioner is directed to submit reply of show cause notice within ten days from today and after receiving such reply, the same shall be considered and decided by the Disciplinary Authority, i.e., the District Basic Education Officer, Ambedkar Nagar within further period of three weeks. The decision taken by the Disciplinary Authority shall be communicated to the petitioner immediately.
