This matter is being taken up in National Lok Adalat held on 13th of December, 2025. 5. The present criminal misc. application under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed on behalf of the Applicants, Rajveer Singh @ Rajvinder S/o Jarnail Singh and Sonu Singh S/o Karnail Singh against the Respondent in particularly Respondent no.2, Bablu Singh S/o Jangeer Singh, who is the complainant; the present application comes with the prayer that the impugned charge sheet dated 07.12.2023, impugned cognizance/summoning order dated 26.06.2024 passed by learned Civil Judge/learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar as well as the entire criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No.543 of 2024, “State of Uttarakhand vs. Rajveer Singh @ Rajvinder & Anr.”, pending before the court of learned Civil Judge/learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar be quashed. 6. The present application is also annexed with the compounding application (IA No.02 of 2025) (page no. 50) 2025:UHC:11146 that is supported with the affidavit of the parties and the said application is being endorsed by the learned counsel for the Applicants and Respondent no.2, Ms. Rajni Rangwal, Advocate and Ms. Poonam Rana, Advocate respectively. 7. As per the FIR, there was a scuffle between the parties, wherein it is stated that on 30.08.2023 in the evening at about 8:00 PM, Jarnail Singh, Karnail Singh sons of Prem Singh, Rajveer Singh S/o Jarnail Singh, Sonu Singh and Pawan Singh sons of Karnail Singh and Chintu S/o Bhagwan Singh dumped some sand and building materials in the field, whereby on stopping they retaliated and started abusing the informant and assaulted with fists and kicks and in return they roped in in a false case. 8. 8. The parties are present before National Lok Adalat today, who are identified by their respective counsel and submit that it was a small scuffle due to some misunderstanding now they wish to settle the matter and no dispute further remains. 9. After interacting with the parties especially with Respondent no.2/complainant, Bablu Singh, he makes a statement that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and now the Respondent no. 2 does not want to prosecute the Applicants and also does not want to proceed with the matter against the Applicants, therefore, the proceedings and other consequential order, if any, arising out of the F.I.R. in question may be quashed, whereas learned State counsel poses her formal objection in this regard. 10. In view of the above, the compounding application is allowed. The impugned charge sheet dated 07.12.2023, impugned cognizance/summoning order dated 26.06.2024 2025:UHC:11146 passed by learned Civil Judge/learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar as well as the entire criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No.543 of 2024, “State of Uttarakhand vs. Rajveer Singh @ Rajvinder & Anr.”, pending before the court of learned Civil Judge/learned Judicial Magistrate, Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar, are hereby quashed. 11. The present Criminal Misc. Application u/s 528 of B.N.S.S. is, thus, disposed of in terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties.
