K UDAYA SRI The Court made the following Order: The petitioner is challenging the procedure adopted by the respondents in not calling the petitioner for an interview. 2. The petitioner applied for the post of Junior Lineman in pursuance of a notification dated 14.12.2011. The petitioner claims to be qualified for the position and as such, made an application for appointment as Junior Lineman. The petitioner also worked as a supervisor on a contract basis under various contractors in the respondent organization and the due wage was also required to be 2 extended by the petitioner’s services. However, the respondent denied issuance of a call letter for an interview. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed. 3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the notification specifies the procedure to be adopted for the selection of candidates and that it is specifically stated in the notification that only those candidates who pass the test will be eligible for further evaluation based on the marks secured in Class X and the ITI/Electrical/Wireman course. 4. The attention of the Court is drawn to paragraphs 4 and 5 of the counter-affidavit, whereby it is stated that the respondents have selected meritorious candidates and that the petitioner cannot figure in the final list of candidates for whom call letters were sent. It is also stated that the recruitment process in pursuance of the notification dated 14.12.2011 is now complete. 5. Recording the same, no further orders are required in this writ petition. 3 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
