WRIT PETITION NO: 24520/2014 This Court made the following ORDER: The Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“..to issue a Writ or Writs more appropriately a Writ of mandamus declaring the impugned notice dated 11.08.2014 issued by the 3rd Respondent as illegal, void ultra vires and unconstitutional and consequently set aside the same……”
2. No representation for the Petitioners.
3. The challenge in the Writ Petition is issuing public notice for conducting public auction for leasehold rights for the year 2014-15. The subject auction of leasehold rights was a decade ago. Therefore, cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication and hence the writ petition becomes infructuous.
4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
