The Regional Passport Officer, Andhra Pradesh at Secunderabad. --- Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ order or direction more particularly in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in refusing to receive the application of the petitioner being submitted for effecting the correction of date of birth of the petitioner in his Passport vide Passport No.M 1078344 dated 19.08.2014 as illegal, arbitrary, ultravires and violative of Article 14 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to receive the application sought to be submitted by the petitioner for correction of his date of birth in the passport without insisting upon declaratory order from the civil court and issue passport to the petitioner by duly effecting the correction of date of birth as per Study Certificate issued by the M.P.P. School at Atluru Village and Mandal, YSR JS,J WP No.1997/2015 2 Kadapa District as 01.01.1966 in the place of 11.09.1963 as per the certificates IA No. 1 OF 2015 (WPMP 2679 OF 2015) Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the 2nd respondent to receive the application of the petitioner by issuing fresh passport by carrying the amendment/correction of the petitioner's date of birth as per Study Certificate issued by the M.P.P. School at Atluru Village and Mandal, YSR Kadapa District as 01.01.1966 instead of 11.09.1963 in the passport of the petitioner vide Passport No.M1078344 dated 19.08.2014 pending disposal of the Writ Petition in the interest of the justice Counsel for the petitioner : N.
