This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2262 of 2021, “State vs. Varun Sagar alias Rinku and Others”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar under Sections 323, 498A, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2 . Heard Mr. Abhishek Verma, learned counsel for the applicant, Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent no.1 and Mr. 1 2025:UHC:11093 Arjun Arora, learned counsel for the respondent no.2- infromant and the respondent no.3-victim. 3 . The applicant is the husband of the respondent no.3. The respondent no.2 is the father of the respondent no.3-victim. 4 . Applicant-Varun Sagar alias Rinku is present. He is identified by Mr. Abhishek Verma, The respondent no.2 and the respondent no.3 are present. They are identified by Mr. Arjun Arora, Advocate. 5 . Both, the applicant and private respondents submitted that there were matrimonial disputes and the said disputes have been settled and after resolving the disputes, they have filed a compounding application and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The private respondents are requesting to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2262 of 2021. 6 . The said request has not been opposed by the respondent no.1. 7 .
