ORDER Date : 18.09.2025 Heard Mr. Sayed Salim Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B Sarma, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor as well as Mr. S Nawaz, learned Amicus Curiae.
2. By this petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, the accused/petitioner, namely, Abdullah Al Faruque Ahmed @ Abdullah Al Faruki Ahmed, has prayed for grant of bail in connection with Dhubri P.S. Case No. 310/2025, U/S 64(2)/117/65(2)/62 R/W Section 10 of POCSO Act.
3. As per the allegations made in the FIR dated 06.07.2025, the informant/alleged victim was in a love affair with the accused, who entered her rented house and forcibly had physical relation with her, leading to grievious injuries and the accused also tried to rape her minor daughter. A case was accordingly registered vide Dhubri P.S. Case No. 310/2025, under Sections 64(2)/ 117(2)/65(2)/62 R/W Section 10 of POCSO Act and he was arrested on

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is into the business of honey trapping and in support of his contention, the learned counsel for the petitioner has taken the Court through the various FIRS lodged by the same informant against different persons containing similar kind of allegations.
5. On perusal of the aforesaid FIRS referred to by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which are annexed to the instant application, I find force in the
submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. I have perused the other two FIRs which were lodged by the present informant alleging offences of similar nature against persons including her own brother and father. Therefore, even though there are incriminating materials in the statements of the informant and her daughter, the Court is disinclined to lay much emphasis upon such materials.
7. Considering the above facts and materials available on record, this Court finds it fit to enlarge the accused petitioner named above on bail. Accordingly, the interim bail order dated 08.08.2025 is hereby made absolute with the same conditions.
