Proceedings of this matter have been taken through video conferencing. 2. This is an ofÏce reference. 3. This Court, vide order dated 22.04.2024, passed in MCRC No. 2416 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Akshay Kale had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 4. Earlier on one occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 22.04.2024. 5. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District-Raipur, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 07.03.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 6. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, a total of three prosecution witnesses have testified so far, with seven more witnesses yet to be examined. Currently, accused Rohit Bhaskar and Sachin Chatse are absent and arrest warrants have been issued against them for ensuring their presence. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. 7. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today. 8. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 9.
