Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J.(Oral) By means of instant petition, the petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities to grant statutory benefit of study leave to the petitioner from 10.02.2025 to 09.08.2025 with half salary for the purpose of Ph.D. course. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authorities to grant all consequential service benefits such as selection grade, pay fixation and arrears, etc. to the petitioner in respect of the period of study leave so granted to the petitioner. (iii) Issue any other writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper (iv) Award the cost of the petition to the petitioner.” 2 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 15.03.2024, passed in WPSS No. 411 of 2024, Sobha Budhlakoti Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others. 4. This fact is admitted by the learned State counsel. 5. Since the matter is covered, instant petition is decided in terms of the judgment dated dated 15.03.2024, passed in WPSS No. 411 of 2024, Sobha Budhlakoti Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others.
