2025:JHHC:17967 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B. A. No. 5362 of 2025 ----- Jiya Begam @ Jiya Begum, W/o Late Firoz Ansari, R/o Abadganj, P.O. & P.S.-Daltonganj, Dist.-Palamau … …. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … …. Opp. Party ----- CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GAUTAM KUMAR CHOUDHARY ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Anurag Kashyap. Advocate Ms. Supriya Dayal Kashyap, Advocate For the State : Ms. Shweta Singh, A.P.P. ----- Oral Order 02 / Dated : 04.07.2025 Heard learned counsel for the parties. The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 233 of 2023 (S.T. No. 184 of 2024, G.R. No. 321 of 2024)) for the offence registered under Sections 395, 397 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Damage of Property Act, pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-1, Latehar. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected twice by this Court on merit. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is being renewed on the ground that after framing of charge, two witnesses have been examined. Further, one of the witnesses has not identified the petitioner to be involved in the place of incidence. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. On perusal of the earlier order, it appears that the regular bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice on merit and I do not find any change of circumstance for renewing his prayer for bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected again. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.) Pawan
