Mr. Harendra Belwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. S.S. Lingwal, learned counsel for the respondents-University. 3. Petitioner was engaged as Field Attendant in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology through outsourcing. His engagement was discontinued. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following reliefs: - (i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to reinstate the services of the petitioner on the post of Security Guard and pay him regular salary with all consequential benefits. (ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the application dated 28.10.2025, addressed to respondent no. 2, of the petitioner for reinstate in his service (Annexure No. 3). 4. Mr. S.S. Lingwal, learned counsel appearing for the University submits that if petitioner makes representation, regarding his re-engagement as Security Guard/ Driver, the same shall be considered, as per law. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Competent Authority in the University. If he makes 2025:UHC:11030 representation within two weeks from today, the Competent Authority shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within four months thereafter.
