Goyal, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. J.P More, learned Standing Counsel for CGST. 2. The applicant herein, namely, Aniket Sovasaria, is facing prosecution in connection with DGGI Case No.DGGI/INT/INTL/34/2025 and the proceeding is stated to be at the stage of trial. 3. The petitioner was granted bail by this Court on 08.05.2025, whereby several conditions were imposed. The condition (a) mentioned in paragraph 13 reads as follows – (a) Shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup(M), Guwahati without prior written permission from him/her 4. Mr. A. Goyal, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant, being a businessman who is required to travel to various places, including travel at short notice – is handicapped by this condition and therefore, seeks modification of the same. 5. It is further submitted that he will continue to abide by all the other conditions, including any new conditions that may be Page No.# 4/4 imposed. 6. Upon considering the matter, I find force in the contention of the learned counsel for the applicant. Therefore, the said condition is hereby modified/deleted and the bail conditions are hereby re-capitulated as follows – b) shall regularly attend the trial court and cooperate with the court for early disposal of the trial; c) shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court. d) shall not commit any such similar offence in future. 7. This needless to say that violation of the bail conditions may entail cancellation of the bail. 8. The interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
