Mr. Harendra Belwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Lalit Samant, learned counsel for the respondents. 3. Petitioner is engaged on contract in Uttarakhand Cooperative Federation allegedly since 2009. According to him, he has earned right to be considered for regularisation after rendering long continuous service of more than sixteen years. Since the claim is not being considered, therefore, he has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs: - (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Federation to regularize the service of the petitioner on the post of Assistant Chemist, in pursuant to the “Daily Wages, Work-charge, Contractual, Fixed- pay, Part time and Ad-hoc Regularization Rules, 2013” (Annexufre No. 10 to this writ petition) or Rules are on existence. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Federation to take a decision on the application moved by the petitioner dated 06.05.2024 (Annexure No. 9 to this writ petition). 4. Mr. Lalit Samant, learned counsel appearing for the employer submits that if petitioner makes representation, claiming right to be considered for regularisation, the same shall be considered by the Competent Authority, 2025:UHC:10544 as per law. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make application, claiming regularisation under the applicable Rules. If he makes application within three weeks from today, the Competent Authority in the Federation shall examine his claim, and if it is found that petitioner is eligible for regularisation, then his case shall be forwarded to the Regularisation Committee, which shall take decision, as per law, within three months thereafter.
