Khare, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State of U.P. and perused the records. 2. By means of the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction to the District Magistrate, Barabanki for deciding his representation dated 07.07.2025. 3. The representation dated 07.07.2025 is addressed to the Hon'ble the Chief Minister of the State, wherein the petitioner has requested for issuance of a direction to the District Magistrate for grant of arms license. 4. It appears that the petitioner has not given any application to the District Magistrate for being provided arms license in accordance with law. 5. In these circumstances, no direction can be issued to the District Magistrate, Barabanki to take any decision of the representation addressed to Hon'ble the Chief Minister.
