Mr. Karmanya Pandey, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Dharmendra Barthwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Narayan Dutt, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. According to petitioners, they were engaged as Junior Engineer (Electrical) in State Public Works Department in the year 2013. According to them, their name is not included in the seniority list of Junior Engineers in Public Works Department, which was issued on 30.10.2025. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioners have approached this Court. 4. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, submits that the seniority list of persons serving as Junior Engineer (Civil) alone has been prepared so far, pursuant to direction issued by Division Bench of this Court in SPA No. 24 of 2025. He assures that name of petitioners shall be included in the seniority list, as and when list of Junior Engineer (Electrical) is prepared. 5. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make representation(s) to the Competent Authority for inclusion of their name in seniority list of Junior Engineer (Electrical). If petitioners make representation(s) within two weeks from 2025:UHC:10561 today, the Competent Authority shall take decision, as per law, within four weeks thereafter. The process of regularisation of Junior Engineer (Electrical), if any, shall be undertaken only after preparing the seniority list.
