Kharshiing, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant has preferred an appeal against the impugned judgment and order dated 28.07.2025 passed by the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), East Khasi Hills Distirct, Shillong in Special (POCSO) Case No. 26 of 2015. 2. However, while preferring the said appeal, a delay of 48 days has occurred on the ground that the applicant could not prepare the same within time due to financial constraints and other reasons. 3. Mr. H. Kharmih, learned Addl. PP appearing on behalf of the State respondents has no objection to the prayer made. 4. Accordingly, on consideration of the submission made by the learned counsels, this Court is also inclined to allow this application.
