Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 283 of 2024 arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Giridih.

Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 8052 of 2024 by order dated 13.01.2025.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased, namely, Khushbu Kumari, who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home within seven years of her marriage.

It was submitted that apart from ligature mark, no external injury was found on the person of the deceased. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 22.03.2024.

Considering the fact that no external injury was found on the person of the deceased, except ligature mark, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Giridih, in connection with S.T. No. 283 of 2024 arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No. 35 of 2024.
