By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to decide the representation/ application of the petitioner dated 9.9.2025 moved before the respondent no. 3 (annexure no. 1 tot his writ petition), which is still pending before the Respondent no. 3, forthwith, within prescribed period fix by this Hon'ble Court." From the perusal of representation, it clearly transpires that relief prayed for in the nature of declaratory decree against the private respondent and hence petitioner should avail remedy of common law, if so advised.
