The delay in concluding the trial has adversely affected the rights of the complainant, who has lost his son due to the alleged assault by the accused. 5. Considering the circumstances, it is expedient to dispose of the petition by directing the XLV Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bangalore, to conclude the trial in Sessions Case No. 1122/2017 within one year from the next date of hearing.
