Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: "a) Issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, District-Jaunpur to decide the Restoration Application dated 20.11.2024 in Case No. 9239/2022 Computer Case No. T-201914360409239 (Vikramajeet and another Vs Gaon Sabha and others) under Section 116 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006, pending in the Court of Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, District-Jaunpur, otherwise the petitioner/applicant shall suffer irreparable loss and injury." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the aforesaid restoration application is pending since 2024 before respondent no.2 for adjudication. He prayed that the same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. The present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No. 2, Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, District-Jaunpur to consider and decide the aforementioned restoration application, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after ensuring service upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
