HON'BLE SIDDHARTH NANDAN, J. 1. The present batch of intra court appeals are directed against the common order and judgement dated 02.11.2022 by which the writ petitions filed by the non-appellants (writ petitioners) claiming compassionate appointment were disposed of directing the State Government to consider case of each petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules which were prevalent at the time of the death of the employee concerned. The operative part of the order is as follows:- "In view of the above, all the writ petitions are disposed off directing the State Government to consider the case of each of the petitioners in accordance with the rules which were prevalent at the time of the death of the employee against whom the claim for compassionate appointment was made." 2. It is noteworthy that against the common order and judgement dated 02.11.2022 in leading Writ-A No.18868 of 2019, Special Appeal No.126 of 2023 was filed and it was dismissed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide judgement dated 07.07.2023. Against the same, Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.7640 of 2024 was filed by the State and it also came to be dismissed on 14.8.2024. Accordingly, the appeals are dismissed for the reasons given in the judgement dated 07.07.2023 in Special Appeal No.126 of 2023 as upheld by the Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (C) No.7640 of 2024.
