For the respondents: Ms. Leena Guleria, Deputy Advocate General Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Even though contesting respondents have not filed reply, however, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 2. This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive relief: - “ That a writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued thereby directing the respondents to convert part time services of the petitioner into a daily wager from the year, 2007 i.e. after completion of ten years as Part Time Water Carrier and thereafter regularize the services of the petitioner w.e.f. 2011, as has been done in the case of similar situate person i.e. Rattan Singh with all consequential benefits i.e. pay, arrears, seniority etc.” 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had represented to the respondents/competent authority on 28.05.2023 (Annexure P-4) for the redressal of her grievance raised in this writ petition. The respondents/competent authority have not considered and decided petitioner’s aforesaid representation till date. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, she is permitted to make a representation along with requisite documents in support of her claim to respondent No.2/competent, whereafter, the said respondent/competent authority be directed to decide the representation to be made by her within time bound schedule. Learned Deputy Advocate General has no objection to this prayer. 4. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make a representation along with requisite documents to respondent No.2/competent authority, within a period of two weeks from today, whereafter, the same shall be considered and decided, in accordance with law, within a further period of six weeks.
