Ms. Sudha Tamta, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. Ganesh Kandpal, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioners participated in a selection for appointment as Forest Guard. Since their name did not figure in the list of successful candidates, therefore, they have approached this Court seeking a direction to the Appointing Authority to notify ten unfilled vacancies of the advertisement dated 21.05.2018 to the Selecting Body and they have also sought a direction to recommend names of the petitioners against the unfilled vacancies. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that the selection, in which petitioners participated, was held pursuant to advertisement dated 21.05.2018; thereafter two more selections were held, pursuant to requisitions dated 16.06.2021 & 09.05.2024. Based on instructions, State Counsel submits that now no vacancy is left and all advertised vacancies are filled-up. 5. Since after selection held in 2018, two selections were made by Department and all the advertised vacancies are now filled-up, therefore, the reliefs, as claimed in the writ petition cannot be granted. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
