Proceedings of this matter have been taken through video conferencing. 2. This is an ofÏce reference. 3. This Court, vide order dated 13.03.2024, passed in MCRC No. 1109 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Vijay Sinha had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 order, if there was no legal impediment. 4. Earlier on one occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 13.03.2024. 5. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District-Raipur, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 25.03.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 6. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, statements of 03 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and the statements of 08 prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded and lots of efforts have been done to conclude the same, but it could not be completed within a prescribed time. Considering the number of witnesses, the trial is likely to take some time therefore, he prays for grant of six months time for concluding the same. 7. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today. 8. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 9.
