(2) Petitioner participated in a selection for appointment as Aanganbari Sahayika in Aanganbari Kendra Tana Paniyali, Block Tarikhet, District Almora, held in the month of December 2024. According to petitioner, she was placed at serial no. 1 in the select list, yet she has not been appointed so far. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to District Program me Officer, Almora to offer appointment to her. (3) Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions. He submits that due to technical glitch, educational documents of candidates, who participated in the selection, could not be properly uploaded in respect of 35 Aanganbari Centres, due to which certain candidates were denied weightage of the qualifications possessed by them. He submits that in view of complaints, an enquiry was ordered and it was found that there was in fact a technical glitch, which resulted in denial of weightage of the higher qualifications, possessed by certain candidates, in the selection process. Learned State Counsel submits that competent authority has now decided to cancel the selection in respect of those 35 Aanganbari Centres, including the one for which petitioner had applied. He subm its that fresh advertisement will be issued 2025:UHC:10548 inviting applications and petitioner can also apply as and when the post is re- advertised. (4) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by taking the statement made by learned State Counsel on record.
