The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 1, the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Bah, District Agra to decide Case No. 3390 of 2023, computerized case no. T202301010603390, under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that a preliminary decree was made in terms of an order dated 22.02.2024 and thereafter the matter is pending. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 1, the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Bah, District Agra, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 1 would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Kuldip Singh Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : Avinash Chandra Srivastava, C.S.C.
