The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhab P.S. Case No. 02/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109(1), 121(1), 121(2), 132, 303(2), 317(2), 324(5), 324(6)/62 of BNS, 2023, Section 21(1) of MMDR Act, Section 54 JMMC Rules and Sections 33, 33(A), 42(1) of Indian Forest Act, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Koderma. 3. On 29.03.2025 at about 9:00 P.M., Koderma police received confidential information that named accused persons and other unknown co- accused persons were illegally mining green-stone in Goriadih forest area. The informant party went to the place of occurrence. On seeing the police party, the accused persons started pelting stone at them, due to which some of the police personnel sustained injury. 4. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. but there is no specific allegation against this petitioner. It was further submitted co-accused Deepak Kumar Saw @ Deepak Saw has been granted bail by co- ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 4501/2025. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Petitioner is accused in as many as five cases. 6. Considering the fact that petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
