Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 for compensation to the petitioner, under the scheme of Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana according to the consent report dated 14.5.2024 sent by the respondent No. 3, Annexure No.1 to the writ petition." 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that claim of the petitioner has come to be accepted and forwarded by the Tehsildar, Tehsil- Lalganj under his recommendation dated 29th April, 2025, yet the payment has not been made till date. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's claim may be directed to be examined and the pending application/ representation may be disposed of by the respondent No.- 3, namely Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Lalganj, District Mirzapur, in a time bound period as may be prescribed. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 3 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner and dispose of the pending application/ representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Praveen Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
