In view of the fact that the aforesaid writ petition is pending since 2017 and a subsequent election has already taken place while the issue of membership, as well as, the validity of the previous election is still pending adjudication, respondents are directed to file counter affidavit to the amended writ petition, within a period of two weeks from today.
