Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 10.7.2025 issued by respondent no. 3. 3. By the aforesaid order, certain guidelines were issued by the Superintendent of Police Fatehpur/respondent no. 3 that for the period between 10.7.2025 till 9.8.2025, every meat/mutton/egg shops will be closed. Relevant paragraph no. 4 of the aforesaid letter reads as follows:- "4- कावंड़ रूट पर िदनांक 10.07.2025 से 09.08.2025 तक कोई भी िचकन/ मटन/अण्डा की दुकानें न खुले।" 4. It is argued by the learned counsel for the petitioners that aforesaid guideline is totally arbitrary and unjust and liable to be set aside. 5. A preliminary objection has been raised by the learned Standing Counsel that the aforesaid period has already come to an end, hence the present petition has become infructuous for all practical practices. 6. At this point, a prayer has been made by learned counsel for the petitioners to dismiss the present writ petition with liberty to approach this Court again if need so arises. 7. Needless to say that in case any such type of direction is made in near future, the petitioners are free to avail appropriate remedy as available Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Mohd Faizyab Rahamani, Pradeep Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
