HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 36981 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Rajiv Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Abhishek Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents. Counsel for the petitioner has confined his relief to seeking a direction to respondent no.2-Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh, to decide Revision No.164/B (Nazruddin Vs. Tarkeshwar & Others) under Section 210 of the U P Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated period of time. The aforesaid revision is stated to have been filed against the order dated 25.8.2025, whereby the restoration application filed by the petitioner's father was rejected. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although 9.10.2025 was the date fixed, but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to respondent No.2, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Counsel appearing for the State-respondents has no objection to the said prayer. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No.2-Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh, would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
