Page No.# 2/2 This is a petition under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, who is apprehending arrest in connection with P.R.C No.196/2025, arising out of Kokrajhar P.S. Case No. 97/2025, registered under Section 329(3)/117(2)/75/324(4) of BNS, 2023. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner assaulted the son of the informant and took away the sim card of his mobile after breaking it and later on, he again came back and physically assaulted the daughter of the informant and tore the clothes of her granddaughter. It appears that charge-sheet has already been submitted and in course of investigation, the accused had appeared before the I/O pursuant to the notice. At present the petitioner apprehends his arrest upon his appearance before the learned Magistrate, as the case is Sessions triable. Having regard to the facts, it is directed that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Magistrate and in such event, the petitioner, namely, Anil Chandra Roy, shall be released on pre-arrest bail, in connection with the above noted case, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Magistrate.
