HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 20442 of 2025 Court No. - 1 HON'BLE NEERAJ TIWARI, J.
HON'BLE VIVEK KUMAR SINGH, J.
1. Second Supplementary affidavit filed today, is taken on record.
2. Heard Sri Dharmendra Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Abhyuday Pratap Singh, advocate holding brief of Sri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 & 2 and learned standing counsel for respondent nos. 5 & 6.
3. Present petition has been filed with following relief;
"I) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quash the impugned Notice under Section 3(2) of the Foreigners Act, 1946 dated 10.03.2025 passed by respondent no. 3 i.e. Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, FRRO, Lucknow."
4. Being confronted by the Court about the procedure for sending notice, learned counsel for the petitioner only stated that notice has not been served properly, rather it has been served through WhatsApp. Again, upon query of the Court on notice, he could not demonstrate as to how any notice send through WhatsApp is not in accordance with Rule. Service of notice upon petitioner has not been disputed.
5. Therefore, under such facts of the case, no case for interference is made out.
6. Accordingly, petition lacks merit and is hereby dismissed. No order as to costs.
