Heard learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondents. 2. The petitioner in the present writ petition has assailed the order dated 07.10.2022 whereby the respondents have sought to recover the outstanding amount of rent from the petitioner for occupation of government accommodation since June, 2021 to march, 2022. 3. It is stated that petitioner was not entitled to occupy of a government accommodation and unauthorisedly he has been occupying the same for which purpose the rent has been sought to be recovered from the petitioner. 3. After arguing the matter, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he does not want to press present petition. He has further submitted that the respondents should permit him to join the services. 4. On the basis of instructions, learned Standing Counsel has informed this Court that the services of the petitioner have already been terminated on 19.12.2023/04.03.2024 and the said order has not challenged by the petitioner. 5. To this, the petitioner has replied that the petitioner has not received the order dated 19.12.2023/04.03.2024 nor is the same in his knowledge. 5. Accordingly, in light of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. The petitioner is at liberty to move a representation to respondent No. 4 within next one week who shall provide the petitioner with a copy of the termination order dated 19.12.2023/04.03.2024 forthwith not later than one week from the date of submission of the said representation.
