The instant petition is being filed by the petitioner for seeking direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for grant of permanent inter-state VISHAKHA BEOHAR Digitally signed by VISHAKHA BEOHAR Date: 2025.04.08 18:24:08 +0530 2 stage carriage for Pendraroad to Shahdol route with one return trip daily, for which, the application has been submitted through online mode on 01.04.2025. 2. The petitioner has filed the petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the State Transport Authority to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 (Annexure P/2) in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act in a meeting scheduled to be held on 7 & 8 of the April 2025. 10.2 Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper looking to the facts and circumstances of the case may also be awarded to the petitioner including the cost and expenses of this petition.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has moved an application dated 01.04.2025 before the respondent No. 2 for grant of permanent inter-state stage carriage for the route Pendraroad to Shahdol. He submits that yesterday, this matter was mentioned stating that today meeting is going to be held, as such, the petitioner may be permitted to approach the authorities concerned along with his application so that his application may be considered. 4. In the first round, the matter was passed over and the State counsel was directed to seek instructions on which, she submits that the application was filed on 01.04.2025, whereas, the 3 notification was issued way back on 28.03.2025, as such, in this meeting, the application of the petitioner cannot be considered. However, she submits that a meeting is going to be held within a month and they will consider the application of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 in the next meeting. 5. Accordingly, the respondent No. 2 is directed to inform the petitioner about the next date of meeting so that he may appear before the respondent No. 2 and the respondent No. 2 is further directed to consider the application of the petitioner on that day by passing an appropriate order, in accordance with law. It is expected from the respondent No. 2 that they will hold meeting within some stipulated period preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of copy of this order. 6.
