Mr. Lenin Hijam, learned AG for the applicants would submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the respondent department has settled the claim amount to the petitioner and the review application has been filed by the department only on the ground that the writ petition is not maintainable. Since the issue on one hand is concerned that the respondent department has settled the admitted amount to the petitioner and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present case. However, the issue involved in the present case is left open to the petitioners to be decided in the appropriate case. In view of the above, the present cases are disposed of. CHIEF JUSTICE John Kom
