Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to consider the petitioner's pending application for grant of firearms license, bearing file Reference No. 33003A1873822 (Annexure No.2) in accordance with the provisions of Arms Act 1959 and Arms Rules 2016, and to decide the same through a reasoned and speaking order, within a specified time frame." 3. Considering the fact that the aforesaid application is pending before the respondent no. 2, the petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the aforesaid application within four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
