The petitioner has filed an application seeking protection of his life and property under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007. The petitioner in fact wants eviction of his son and daughter-in-law by the said application. 3. How far this is permissible under the said Act by the District Magistrate or any other Officer is to be seen by the said Officer keeping in mind the law on the subject. 4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner if any such application is filed which is referable to the aforesaid Act or the Rules made thereunder, then, the concerned Authority shall look into the matter and do the needful as per law, but, after hearing the affected parties. 5.
