Complaining illegal occupation by the vendors at the space in front of Holy Rosary Cathedral Church situated at 13 and 15, Brabourne Road (Portuguese Church Street), Police Station – Burrabazar, Kolkata – 700 007, the instant writ petition has been filed. 2. Having heard learned Advocates appearing for the respective parties, I am of the view that since a complaint has been lodged by the petitioner before the municipal authorities on 20th September, 2025, the municipal authorities should enquire into the same and dispose of the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order. It is expected that the aforesaid decision shall be taken by the municipal authorities as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 3.
