Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly admits that on account of subsequent developments, present petition has been rendered infructuous and accordingly, the same may be disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach competent authority by way of representation, seeking therein transfer at a convenient station on account of adverse family circumstances.
2. Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, states that he is not averse to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Consequently, in view of the above, present petition is
disposed of as having been rendered infructuous reserving liberty to the petitioner to file representation to the competent authority within
one week, seeking therein transfer at a convenient station on account of adverse family circumstances, which shall be decided by the competent authority within two weeks taking note of Transfer Policy, which certainly enables an employee to seek transfer at a convenient station on account of adverse family circumstances.
